Python Essentials 2 Training
Take your Python further with modules, packages, exceptions, strings, object-oriented programming and file handling, the skills used in real-world software and automation.
Once you know the basics of Python, the next step is to write the kind of code that is used in real software and automation projects. Python Essentials 2 takes your skills further, preparing you to build larger, better-structured and more professional programs.
Over forty hours, you will learn to work with modules, packages and PIP, handle exceptions and process strings, and apply object-oriented programming. You will also learn to use generators and closures, and to work with files, all of which are essential skills for developers, automation engineers and data professionals.
Python Essentials 1, or equivalent Python knowledge, is required before you begin. Classes are instructor-led by a Careers IT facilitator, on campus or online, with full access to the Cisco Networking Academy content, labs and assessments. The course prepares you for the PCAP Certified Associate Python Programmer exam from the Python Institute, and opens the door to roles such as Python Developer, Software Engineer, Automation or DevOps Engineer and Junior Data Analyst.
