Ethical Hacker Training
Learn how penetration testers work, legally and ethically. Plan and scope an assessment, gather information, scan for vulnerabilities, test networks, applications and cloud environments in hands-on labs, and report findings professionally.
Organisations pay ethical hackers to find the weaknesses in their systems before criminals do. It is one of the most exciting and rewarding careers in cybersecurity, and it requires a rare combination of technical skill, curiosity and integrity. The Cisco Networking Academy Ethical Hacker course teaches you how professional penetration testers work, legally and ethically.
Over seventy hours of instructor-led training, you will learn to plan and scope an assessment and agree the rules of engagement. You will gather information and scan for vulnerabilities, carry out attacks on networks, web applications, wireless and cloud environments in hands-on labs, and learn post-exploitation techniques. You will also learn to report your findings professionally, so that organisations can act on them.
Basic networking and computer skills are recommended, and Linux Essentials is a useful companion course. Classes are led by a Careers IT facilitator, on campus or online, with full access to the Cisco Networking Academy content, labs and assessments, a Careers IT certificate of completion and the Cisco certificate of completion. On completion, you will be ready to pursue roles such as Ethical Hacker, Penetration Tester, Vulnerability Assessment Analyst and Cybersecurity Analyst. Enquire today.
